Finally I had to add the certificate in Websphere UI.

Here goes the details of the problem and the solution :

http://www.coderanch.com/t/573425/Web-Services/java/javax-net-ssl-SSLException-SSLSocketFactoryYogihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15382350910254695035noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-785895453418216075.post-85054028765599395182012-04-13T21:34:29.859-07:002012-04-13T21:34:29.859-07:00System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.trustStore&...System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.trustStore", "/Users/tgrall/ssl/client.keystore");
System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.keyStore", "/Users/tgrall/ssl/client.keystore");

you had set trustStore and keyStore to the client.keystore

Do they always point to the same file always and the file name is usually client.keystore? because the file I got from my client is also client.keystore.Yogihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15382350910254695035noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-785895453418216075.post-6228127881104802262012-04-13T20:17:21.219-07:002012-04-13T20:17:21.219-07:00Thanks for this tutorial, This might help me out.
...Thanks for this tutorial, This might help me out.

But in real scenario, I have to make a call to a webservice on https and my client is WAS 7.0

I have few questions, I'll be obliged, if anyone of you can answer my questions

1) Exact steps needed to install certificate on client
2) Is it really required that WSDL URL should be accessible from client's machine? I mean is it possible that the server guys have protected their WSDL and not anyone can access it?
3) Can I make the path to WSDL configurable? As I see, the path to WSDL gets hard-coded in annotations. Is there a way to make it configurable. My client demands it.

Any information on the above points might prove very useful to me, if you can help.Yogihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15382350910254695035noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-785895453418216075.post-82452709478009441342009-06-16T09:52:22.596-07:002009-06-16T09:52:22.596-07:00Great tutorial! very useful!
